As we continue the process of preparing to apply for AIAA accreditation (American International Accreditation Association), our teachers continue to be part of the process and have attended many training sessions to understand and learn the system as well as develop and enhance their skills. Through our partner OMNIS (consulting firm) we provided our teachers with a four-hour session on Child Protection Policy. During this session, teachers and staff were fully engaged in various activities to understand the different aspects of child protection and our role as adults and supervisors to ensure that not only our environment at IKS is safe, but that each child feels physically, emotionally, and mentally safe.
